Job summary

Saras Market Bakery is seeking a Produce Associate to maintain the produce sales floor and assist with back-of-house tasks as needed. You will support the Produce Team Leader in breaking down deliveries and ensure a positive guest experience through courteous service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years or more experience in a produce department
• Guest Service focused
• Knowledge of department product, food preparation and equipment used preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintains fresh, appealing displays by rotating stock, checking signage and removing out-of-date products
• Assist Team Leader in breaking down deliveries
• Deliver outstanding guest service and resolve guest questions or concerns
• Follow procedures includingSafety and sanitation rules (Weighs and Measures, FDA, health and sanitation, OSHA, HAACP)
• Sanitize equipment properly and report any equipment issues to Store Leadership
• Keep cases and shelves clean, well-stocked, and properly rotated
• Utilize suggestive selling to maximize sales
• Perform other duties as assigned by Store Leadership
