Job summary

Kroger Family of Companies in Tucker, GA seeks a customer-focused team member to deliver outstanding service and maintain a safe, clean store environment. You will assist the department manager in achieving sales goals, promote corporate brands, and help customers with questions across the department and store.

Responsibilities include product knowledge, assisting with produce prep, labeling, stocking, and ensuring temperature controls and safety protocols are followed.

Qualifications

• Ability to handle stressful situations.
• Effective communication skills.
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Current food handlers permit once employed.

• Inform customers of produce specials
• Recommend items to meet customer needs
• Label, stock and inventory department merchandise
• Report discrepancies to department manager
• Maintain temperature logs and proper case temperatures
• Follow safety procedures and report unsafe conditions
• Inspect equipment and request repairs when needed
• Notify management of accidents or safety risks
• Follow instructions to resolve customer/business issues
• Provide support to customers including minors and older adults
• Able to perform essential duties with or without accommodations
