Job summary

Hansen’s IGA Market in Wisconsin is seeking a Produce Associate to ensure fresh, high-quality produce and friendly service. You will stock, rotate, face displays and assist guests with selections in a fast-paced department.

You’ll help with packing, pricing, cooler stocking and light prep, while keeping the area clean and safe. Training new team members and supporting the department’s daily operations are also part of the role.

Responsibilities

• Serve customers in the Produce Department while modeling Hansen’s IGA Market culture and providing best in class service.
• Assist customers in selecting produce, answer questions and offer suggestions as needed.
• Stock, rotate and face Produce Department, including the floor and Produce cases.
• Assist with packaging produce, pricing, stocking coolers and cleaning.
• Assist with minimal produce preparation such as producing juice and prepping produce.
• Assist with training and mentoring of new associates in the Produce Department.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety/sanitation regulations and procedures.
• Assist with all other Produce Department duties as needed.
