Job summary

Jimbo is seeking a Produce Department Supervisor to oversee daily operations, lead staff, and ensure a clean, safe work environment. You will monitor quality, train team members, and coordinate with the Produce Manager on inventory, displays, and policy adherence.

Ideal candidates will have strong leadership, communication, and time-management skills, with the ability to travel or transfer to other store locations as needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand and follow Department of Health regulations and obtain Food Handler’s Certificate within 10 days of employment.
• Strong knowledge of Produce Department operations.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong time management with ability to handle several tasks at once.
• Leadership and team-building skills with coaching, motivation, supervision, delegation, and addressing performance issues.
• Ability to travel and/or transfer to other store locations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise Produce staff, delegate tasks, and address performance issues.
• Represent Produce Department in absence of the Produce Manager.
• Enforce store/department policies, minimize overtime, and document performance feedback.
• Assist with department development, displays, and inventory as directed by the Produce Manager.
• Coordinate with the Produce Manager on training and succession planning.
