Job Description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Keep the produce department well-stocked and appealing to meet customer demands. Greet customers, answer questions, handle special requests, and resolve concerns professionally.
• Unpack merchandise, clean and trim produce, stock the area, rotate stock for freshness, ensure proper pricing, and maintain the salad bar and cut produce.
• Assist in creating attractive displays, complete product logs, and handle spoiled or discontinued items per company policy.
• Maintain sanitation, follow cleaning schedules, and ensure health and OSHA standards are met.
• Minimize shrinkage, report shortages, and assist with receiving and storing deliveries if trained.
• Assist with cardboard baling if trained.
• Ensure department and store functionality through cooperation and continuous improvement.
• Use all provided PPE properly.
• Assist in other departments as needed.

Supervisory Responsibilities

This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
