Job summary

The Atlanta Community Food Bank is seeking a Produce Repack Associate to support repacking produce and protein for distribution to partner agencies and families in need. This role works in a cold-storage environment and emphasizes food safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the repack process.

Based in our East Point office, the position requires in‑office presence Tue–Sat with weekend hours as needed, and the ability to operate forklifts and RF scanners while maintaining a clean, safe

Qualifications

• Experience operating stand‑up and sit‑down forklifts and electric pallet jacks.
• Familiar with RF scanners and warehouse safety protocols.
• Ability to work in cold environments and lift up to 75 lbs.
• Strong attention to detail and dependable team member.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.

Responsibilities

• Sort, portion, label, and package produce and other items for distribution.
• Operate safely in cold environments following food handling procedures.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary workspace per food safety standards.
• Follow daily production goals and communicate any equipment or product issues to the supervisor.
• Assist with inventory checks and help track product movement from receiving to storage.
• Follow USDA and food safety protocols at all times.
