Job summary

Packaged Produce Solutions LLC in Texas is seeking a Food Production Associate to support culling, sorting, washing, peeling, cutting, packaging, and palletizing finished goods in a cold storage environment.

You will follow GMPs, HACCP principles, PPE rules, and report hazards, while cleaning production lines, operating handheld tools, and ensuring correct labeling and secure packaging for shipment or storage.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience in a food production or manufacturing environment is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of food safety regulations, quality control standards, and HACCP principles.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow established recipes and production specifications.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Physical stamina and ability to lift up to 30 pounds, stand for extended periods.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed to meet production demands.
• Cold storage environment; temperature controlled at 34°F.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assemble ingredients, including washing, cutting, measuring, mixing, blending, and weighing.
• Operation of handheld tools and equipment.
• Packaging finished goods, ensuring secure sealing, labeling, and preparation for shipment or storage.
• Perform routine cleaning on production lines to keep things tidy and organized and safely sanitized.
• Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP’s) and adhere to safety guidelines and PPE usage, reporting hazards.
