Job summary

Capitol City Produce in Baton Rouge, LA is seeking a motivated Repack team member to support our warehouse operations and ensure accurate packing, safe handling, and timely preparation of orders. You will contribute to a clean, efficient warehouse and participate in ongoing training to meet production targets.

Ideal candidates are physically fit, able to lift up to 60 lbs, endure cold environments, and communicate clearly in English while collaborating with teammates to achieve daily goals.

Qualifications

• Must be in good physical condition and able to lift 60 lbs.
• Able to work in a cold environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods.
• Strong written and spoken English communication.
• Ability to move throughout the warehouse and parking lot.
• Must wear PPE as required.
• Willing to work extended hours when needed.

Responsibilities

• Re-pack orders and verify quantities and item descriptions.
• Ensure proper stacking on pallets to prevent transit damage.
• Complete Capitol City Produce training requirements.
• Operate warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
• Report any damage or malfunction of equipment.
• Maintain a clean, safe warehouse environment.
• Work extended hours to meet productivity goals.
• Assist supervisor with related duties.
• Promote teamwork within the warehouse.
