Job summary

Performance Food Group is seeking a Produce Quality Associate to check product quality and perform daily inventory on produce. You will remove spoiled or short-dated items and repack full cases as needed to maintain freshness and minimize waste.

You will coordinate with Returns Clerk and communicate with customers and vendors to ensure accurate and timely information, while maintaining proper rotation and daily quality checks across designated pick locations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED or equivalent experience.
• 6-12 months procurement, warehouse and/or administrative experience in related area.
• Preferred: 1–2 years procurement, warehouse and/or administrative experience in foodservice industry.
• OSHA Forklift Operator certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check quality of designated product and take daily inventory on produce.
• Remove spoiled/short-dated product and repack as needed to minimize spoilage.
• Maintain current inventory counts and communicate with customers and vendors professionally.
• Assist in determining quality of returned produce and coordinate with Returns Clerk.
• Ensure proper dating, rotation, and quality of products daily.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
