You will check product quality, manage daily inventory, and remove spoiled items while coordinating repacking to minimize waste. The role emphasizes strict quality control, inventory accuracy, and teamwork within the Receiving department to support the company’s perishable goods operations.

Qualifikationen

• High School Diploma/GED or Equivalent Experience.
• 1-2 years Procurement, warehouse and/or administrative experience in related area within foodservice industry.
• OSHA Forklift Operator certification.

Aufgaben

• Perform quality checks on designated produce and manage daily inventory.
• Remove spoiled/short-dated items and repack cases to reduce spoilage.
• Communicate with customers, vendors, and coworkers professionally and promptly.
• Ensure proper product rotation and daily quality of inventory.
• Identify and address dating issues on products and coordinate with Returns Clerk.
• Keep inventory counts current and perform other related duties as assigned.
