Job summary

H Mart is seeking a detail-oriented Produce Procurement Specialist to source high-quality produce at competitive prices, manage inventory, and ensure timely delivery. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills and the ability to collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to maintain efficient purchasing operations.

Responsibilities include creating purchase and sales orders, inspecting incoming goods, coordinating with warehouse staff, maintaining refrigerated inventories, and

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred in Agriculture Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Strong communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to occasionally move produce boxes up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Create a purchase order and sales order, and follow up until the product is received.
• Check the quality and quantity of incoming products.
• Coordinate with warehouse staff and suppliers on delivery issues, back-orders and returns.
• Manage produce inventories in refrigerated storage.
• Assist with new item forms and seasonal/special project templates.
• Analyze purchases and sales data.
• Perform administrative tasks for the Produce department.
• Conduct store visits for QA and sales status.
