H Mart is seeking a Purchaser/Inventory Manager to optimize purchasing, maintain margins, and support store operations in New Jersey. You will negotiate with vendors, manage lead times, and maintain item master data while ensuring stock levels and pricing accuracy.

The role involves analysis, reporting, and collaboration with stores to meet quality and cost targets. A related degree and Excel proficiency are preferred, with 2+ years in purchasing or merchandising and bilingual Korean/English a

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Understanding of product specifications, quality standards, and cold chain handling.
• Strong vendor negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Excel skills for purchasing and inventory analysis.
• 2+ years of purchasing related experience.
• 2+ years of experience as a Merchandiser or Sales representative.
• Experience in food or wholesale industry preferred.
• Bilingual in Korean and English preferred.

Responsabilités

• Prepare and process purchase orders for various products and services.
• Communicate with suppliers to confirm order details and resolve issues related to deliveries.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers for various products and services.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels, product availability and pricing in procurement systems.
• Communicate with vendors regarding order status, product availability, and delivery schedules.
• Coordinate distribution and troubleshoot issues; support stores with operational needs.
• Perform regular audits on product quality, sales, and profit margins.
• Generate reports on purchasing activities, supplier performance and purchasing data.
