The role involves creating orders, checking product quality, collaborating with warehouse staff and suppliers, and analyzing purchasing data. Requires 4 years of experience, degree in a related field, and proficiency with Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture Business, Marketing, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
• Great communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to move/lift up to 50 pounds when checking quantity and quality.

Responsibilities

• Create purchase orders and sales orders and follow up until receipt.
• Check quality and quantity of incoming products.
• Coordinate with warehouse and suppliers on delivery issues, back-orders, and returns.
• Manage produce inventories in refrigerated storage.
• Assist with new item forms and sales templates for seasonal projects.
• Analyze purchases and sales data.
• Perform administrative tasks for the Produce department.
• Visit stores for QA and sales status of produce.
