Provide leadership support and direction during primetime hours (3p-7p M-F; 11a-7p Sat/Sun) to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. Partner with the store leader and department leader to develop a high-performance culture where associates are aligned with the business strategy and receive the knowledge and training needed to deliver a consistently great experience for Every Customer, Every Time. Minimum Requirements:

  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to handle stressful situations.
  • Basic math skills (counting, addition, subtraction).

Desired Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Experience in produce, retail, or management.
  • Second language skills (speaking, reading, and/or writing).

Responsibilities:

  • Promote trust and respect among associates; communicate effectively.
  • Set and achieve performance goals through teamwork.
  • Ensure timely order fulfillment, stock rotation, and replenishment.
  • Train and develop associates; participate in performance appraisals.
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers; assist with product questions and sampling.
  • Maintain merchandising standards and product quality.
  • Implement sales promotions and inform staff of current and upcoming promotions.
  • Ensure in-stock behaviors and promotional plans are executed.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the department and backroom areas.
  • Manage inventory processes and ensure proper storage temperatures.
  • Reinforce safety protocols; identify and report unsafe conditions and incidents.
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
