Leadership Support and Customer Experience

Provide leadership support and direction during primetime hours (3p-7p M-F; 11a-7p Sat/Sun) to drive sales and enhance the customer experience. Partner with the store leader and department leader to develop a high-performance culture where associates are aligned to the business strategy and receive the knowledge and training needed to deliver a consistently great experience for Every Customer, Every Time.   • Experience in produce, retail, or management
  • Second language skills (speaking, reading, or writing)
Responsibilities
  • Promote trust and respect among associates; communicate effectively
  • Set department performance goals and empower team members
  • Ensure timely orders, work on backstock, rotate products, and replenish stock
  • Train and develop associates; participate in performance appraisals
  • Create a welcoming environment for customers; respond to inquiries and offer samples
  • Maintain merchandising standards; review product quality and freshness
  • Coordinate sales promotions and inform staff of current promotions
  • Ensure in-stock behaviors and execute promotional plans
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization following 5S practices
  • Manage inventory processes, monitor stock conditions, and train staff on inventory and CAO
  • Maintain proper temperatures and logs in cases and coolers
  • Reinforce safety procedures; identify and report unsafe conditions and incidents
  • Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies
  • Perform essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations
