Nino Salvaggio International Marketplace in Troy, MI is seeking a Produce Prep Associate to maintain quality and readiness of fresh produce. You will cut, weigh, package, and display products according to recipes and safety standards.

This role requires early mornings, weekends, and the ability to work in cold environments. You will follow store policies, assist training, and help control waste while supporting a clean and organized department.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred but not required.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Early mornings, nights and weekends work availability.
• Ability to work in 45–50°F environments.
• Ability to count, weigh and handle various products.
• Responsible use of knives and slicers where required (age 18+).

Responsibilities

• Observe all company policies, store rules and conduct standards.
• Cut, package, weigh all produce prep products per guidelines.
• Maintain neat, groomed appearance per dress standards.
• Work all scheduled shifts and maintain punctuality.
• Operate equipment according to safety guidelines.
• Stock and perform other duties as directed by management.
• Understand quality standards, prices, varieties and prep methods.
• Handle damaged products per guidelines and control waste.
• Comply with safety, sanitation, weights and measures laws.
• Notify management of safety or equipment issues.
• Display products properly and assist in training associates.
• Other duties as assigned.
