• Inventory Management: Monitor inventory levels, order produce and supplies, manage stock rotation, and minimize waste to maintain freshness and reduce shrink.
• Team Leadership: Train, schedule, and supervise department staff, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
• Customer Service: Address customer inquiries, resolve complaints, and provide product knowledge to enhance the shopping experience.
• Food Safety & Compliance: Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation regulations, including HACCP, FDA, and local health department standards.
• Sales & Profitability: Develop strategies to increase department sales, meet financial targets, and implement promotional displays to drive customer engagement.
