A leading market seeks a Produce/Lead Clerk to enhance customer service and manage the Produce department effectively. Responsibilities include supervising staff, achieving sales goals, and ensuring a safe and clean environment for customers. Candidates must be 18 and possess a food handler's permit.
PRODUCE/LEAD CLERK (Finance)
Create outstanding customer experiences through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe, clean, and fresh environment that encourages customers to return. Achieve sales and profit goals for the department, and monitor and control all quality assurance standards. Direct and supervise all functions, duties, and activities for the Produce department. Support daily operations and embrace the Customer 1st strategy, encouraging associates to deliver excellent customer service. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety.

Additional responsibilities include adhering to all laws and safety regulations, promoting trust among associates, communicating company information, establishing performance goals, managing scheduling, training and developing staff, ensuring product quality, utilizing Fresh Insights, and maintaining safety and inventory standards. The role requires working in refrigerated areas, lifting up to 50 pounds, and implementing promotional plans. Safety compliance and proper equipment maintenance are essential, along with reporting safety risks and incidents. Must be able to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
