US Foods is hiring a Produce Inspector II in Manassas, VA. The role inspects incoming produce and inventory to meet quality specs and PACA compliance, working closely with warehouse teams.
Starting rate is $27.75/hr with potential overtime and bonus opportunities. Requires 2+ years in perishable inspection, PACA knowledge, and ability to lift 50 lbs. Training provided within 60 days of hire.

The Produce Inspector II performs daily inspections of all incoming deliveries and existing produce inventories to ensure product meets established quality specifications. The Inspector will make the decision to accept or reject produce based on processes consistent with PACA laws, driving customer satisfaction and minimizing returns.
The expected base rate for this role is between $27 - $41.
This role may also receive overtime compensation, annual incentive plan bonus.

RELATIONSHIPS Internal: Interact with Replenishment Lead, Drivers, Selectors, Operations External: Interact with Vendors, Suppliers, Third Party Consultants and Regulatory Bodies
