Job summary

The Fresh Market is seeking a Produce & Floral Specialist to lead behind-the-scenes operations ensuring product freshness, proper rotation, and merchandising accuracy for produce, floral, and gift center departments.

You will manage inventory accuracy, assist with ordering and replenishment, verify deliveries, and support promotions and seasonal events while engaging guests with friendly service.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in retail, grocery, restaurant, or hospitality operations.
• Strong attention to detail with organizational skills, ability to multitask, and work at a fast pace.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all produce, floral & gift center products meet freshness and quality standards, including proper rotation and dating.
• Execute planograms and maintain accurate product placement and signage.
• Coordinate with department leadership on ordering and replenishment of produce, floral & gift center items.
• Verify deliveries for accuracy and freshness, ensuring proper receiving and storage procedures.
• Play a key role in compliance during item transitions and promotional events.

• Support front-end operations during peak business times as a cashier or in other areas.
• Engage guests with a friendly, helpful approach when on the sales floor.
