Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Produce Management Assistant at Store 236 in Cary, NC. You will supervise up to 20 associates in Produce, with possible Floral Department oversight, directing daily operations to meet store goals.

You will interview and train associates, plan and assign tasks, evaluate performance, and ensure compliance with company policies and laws while maintaining customer service standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Exceptional interpersonal skills and teamwork.
• Ability to read and comprehend basic English instructions and memos.
• Strong communication skills for customer interactions.

Responsibilities

• Supervise up to 20 associates in Produce; may oversee Floral.
• Direct, coordinate and evaluate department activities in line with policies and laws.
• Interview and train associates; plan, assign, direct work; appraise performance; reward and discipline.
• Address complaints and resolve problems to maintain service standards.
