Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a Full Time Produce Management Assistant at Raleigh, NC (Store 136). You will manage and supervise up to 20 associates in Produce, with possible Floral duties, directing and evaluating performance.

Responsibilities include interviewing and training, planning and directing work, addressing complaints, and ensuring customer satisfaction and sales. Must be 18+, HS diploma or GED, and able to work with the team.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; or two to three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Associates must be at least 18 years of age.

Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise up to 20 associates in the Produce Department.
• May also be assigned responsibility for the Floral Department.
• Direct, coordinate, and evaluate the departments.
• Interview and train associates; plan, assign, and direct work; assist in performance appraisal; reward and discipline.
• Address complaints and resolve problems.
