Job summary

Qualifications

• 18 years of age
• Effective communication skills
• Knowledge of basic math (counting, addition, and subtraction)
• Ability to handle stressful situations
• Current food handlers permit (where applicable) once employed

Responsibilities

• Create outstanding customer experiences through service and respond to questions about products in the department and store.
• Assist with cutting, packaging produce items, stocking and inventory checks.
• Prepare fruit and vegetable platters/trays and offer product samples.
• Inform customers of produce specials and quality/freshness reviews.
• Maintain proper temperatures in cases and coolers and log temperatures.
• Reinforce safety procedures and report safety risks or incidents.
• Lift up to 30 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
