The Kroger Co. in Derby, KS is seeking a customer service associate to deliver outstanding service, maintain a safe, clean store environment, and support department goals. You will engage with customers, answer questions, and promote Kroger brands.

You will follow the Customer 1st strategy, demonstrate core values, handle produce prep, inventory, temperature logs, and report safety issues. Prior retail experience is helpful; multilingual skills are a plus.

• Assist with produce preparation and displays
• Inform customers of produce specials
• Recommend items to ensure customer needs are met
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise
• Inspect products for quality and freshness
• Report inventory discrepancies to management
• Maintain temperature logs and ensure proper temperatures
• Adhere to safety programs and report unsafe conditions
• Communicate effectively in high-paced environments
• Handle customer or employee incidents and report them
• Support minors, persons with special needs, and older adults
