Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Sacramento seeks a capable Team Member with supervisory potential to assist the Team Leader in daily operations, merchandising, and profitability. You will lead team members, ensure food safety and store SOPs, and uphold core values while delivering friendly service.

Responsibilities include achieving sales, analyzing performance, maintaining vendor relations, training staff, and maintaining high standards of retail execution.

Qualifications

• 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Ability to coach and mentor teammates and manage a small team

Responsibilities

• Develops and maintains creative store layout and product merchandising.
• Works with Team Leader to achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets.
• Assists Team Leader in analysis of sales, reports and labor.
• Demonstrates advanced product knowledge and develops/maintains awareness of new products.
• Maintains vendor relationships and ensures paperwork is submitted for vendor processing.
• Provides timely, thorough performance evaluations.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
