Job summary

Whole Foods Market in Destin, FL is seeking an experienced Produce Supervisor to assist with scheduling, supervise Team Members, and maintain vibrant Produce, coffee, and juice displays that delight customers.

You will train staff, open and close the department, ensure breaks, uphold safety and sanitation standards, and communicate team needs to the Team Leader and Associate Team Leader while modeling WFM values.

Qualifications

• 12+ months retail experience.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and delegates tasks to Produce Team Members.
• Works with Produce Trainer to train Team Members and sustain high performance.
• Assists in training of new Team Members using checklists and materials.
• Keeps cases and shelves clean, well-stocked and rotated.
• Opens and closes department according to procedures.
• Ensures all necessary breaks are given.
• Communicates team concerns to Team Leader and Associate Team Leader.
• Sets and achieves high standards of retail execution.
• Fosters a positive environment of teamwork and morale.
• Maintains awareness of customer flows and directs Team Members to delight customers.
• Selects, trains, develops, mentors, motivates, and counsels Team Members.
• Provides timely performance evaluations.
• Communicates and models WFM vision and goals.
