Job summary

Coborn's, Inc. is seeking a Department Manager to lead our Produce Department in Minnesota. You will drive department performance, maximize sales and gross profit, and coach the team to deliver exceptional guest service.

You will oversee ordering, receiving, merchandising, pricing, and freshness while maintaining records and ensuring food safety and safety practices across the department. This is a full-time, on-site role with a strong employee-owned culture and robust benefits.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age;
• Previous retail/customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead the Produce Department team through ongoing training, coaching, and accountability to deliver remarkable guest service.
• Direct and coordinate ordering, receiving, merchandising, pricing, and freshness of department product.
• Maintain accurate records, guest service, employee relations, labor, gross profit, expense control, inventory, shrink, public relations, stocking, and freshness by rotating and removing out-of-stock merchandise.
• Direct the workload of team members and conduct performance evaluations and accountability conversations.
• Ensure all food safety and company safety practices are understood and followed.
