Qualifications

• Excellent oral and written communication suited for a retail environment.
• Basic math skills for transactions and inventory
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a fast-paced store
• Current food handlers permit required upon employment

Responsabilités

• Promote trust and respect among associates with a positive attitude
• Communicate store, department and job information to associates
• Set department goals and empower the team to meet targets
• Create schedules to manage customer volume
• Train associates and participate in performance appraisals
• Assist customers and answer questions about products in the department and store
• Inform customers of produce specials and offer samples
• Inspect products for quality and freshness and take action as needed
• Develop and implement a department business plan to reach results
• Coordinate sales promotions with store management
• Educate staff on current promotions and their impact
• Prepare seasonal critiques for the supervisor
• Execute the department's promotional plan
• Assist with store/department budgeting and financial reporting
• Manage price changes and signage
• Organize inventory and CAO processes and stock levels
• Ensure proper temperatures and maintain temperature logs
• Support safety programs and report safety risks or incidents
• Adhere to laws and company guidelines
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment
• Handle conflicts constructively and with integrity
• Follow directions and seek help when resolving issues
• Provide support for customers including minors and seniors
• Perform essential job functions with or without accommodation
