Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a Produce Department Associate to provide quality customer service, maintain product standards, and maximize sales while minimizing shrink through proper displays and safety practices.

You will unload trucks, handle ordering and receiving, follow Food Safety guidelines, use ACIS/CAO tools, and stay compliant with policies. The role requires strong communication, reliability, and the ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality customer service within the Produce Department and maximize sales.
• Maintain standards per the standard practice manual and ensure food safety guidelines.
• Unload trucks and manage ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying merchandise.
• Follow company tools such as ACIS and CAO for inventory and ordering.
• Adhere to local, state and federal regulations and wear Food Lion uniform on duty.
• Report accidents and maintain a neat, safe work environment.
