Job summary

Price Rite Harrisburg is seeking a Produce Manager to lead the Produce department, drive sales, and protect company assets. You will oversee staff, ensure strong store presentation, maintain inventory, and manage safety and sanitation standards.

The role reports to Store Manager/Assistant Store Manager and requires a 1–2 year related background, plus the ability to read, write, and communicate effectively with customers and associates.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or related experience required.
• Ability to read safety rules and manuals.
• Ability to write reports and speak to groups.
• Ability to perform basic algebra and geometry.
• Ability to stand/walk and lift objects as needed.

Responsibilities

• Manages 10–15 team members; interviews, hires, and trains staff.
• Maintains store conditions and customer service standards.
• Maximizes department sales and controls losses.
• Develops team morale and ensures safe, efficient operations.
• Ensures proper inventory, sanitation, and compliance.
