Job summary

The Kroger Family of Companies is seeking a Produce Associate to help create an outstanding customer experience in our Fond du Lac store. You will support a safe, clean environment, ensure product quality and freshness, and assist with sales goals for the department.

Responsibilities include supervising associates, scheduling, training, and executing promotions while upholding safety procedures and company values. This role is on-site and requires a proactive, team-oriented approach.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of basic math operations (counting, addition, subtraction).
• Ability to handle stressful situations in a busy environment.
• Current food handler's permit required after employment.

Responsibilities

• Promote trust and respect among associates, with a positive attitude.
• Communicate department information to associates and maintain safety standards.
• Establish department performance goals and empower associates to meet targets.
• Develop scheduling to manage customer volume.
• Train associates and participate in performance appraisals.
• Answer customer questions and help locate products to enhance the shopping experience.
• Inspect products for quality and freshness and take appropriate action.
• Plan and implement a department business plan to achieve desired results.
• Create and execute sales promotions with store management.
• Inform staff about promotions and educate on in-store deals.
