Price Rite Torrington is seeking a Produce Manager to lead the produce department, maximize sales, protect assets, and maintain high store standards. You will supervise 10–15 team members, hire and train staff, and ensure compliance with safety and sanitation requirements.

The role emphasizes leadership, operational excellence, and delivering a positive customer experience in a fast-paced grocery setting. A Food Safety Certification and an Associate's degree are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals.
• Ability to write routine reports and correspondence; speak effectively before groups.
• Ability to calculate discounts, percentages, and measurements.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor 10–15 team members.
