Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old with basic math knowledge.
• Dependable with ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Outgoing and friendly demeanor with customer interaction skills.
• Good communication and teamwork abilities.
• Perform general housekeeping and sanitation in the department.
• Adhere to safety, health, and weight/measure regulations and obtain a Food Handlers permit.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs. throughout shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Produce Manager in managing and merchandising the department for productivity and profit.
• Oversee ordering, inventory, product quality, and supervision of the Produce team.
• Coordinate merchandising and sales through planning, direction, and teamwork.
• Maintain freshness and proper receiving, processing, pricing, signage, and rotation of items.
• Lead a team to deliver high-quality products and customer service.
• Participate in hiring, training, and development of the Produce team.
• Unload deliveries and operate produce equipment.
• Ensure adherence to health, safety, and sanitation guidelines.
