Job summary

ShopRite is seeking a Produce Manager in Aberdeen, NJ to direct and supervise all Produce Department functions and staff. You will drive department goals in sales, profit, and customer experience while upholding the company’s safety and service priorities.

Responsibilities include leading Associates, training, scheduling, and ensuring accurate pricing, stock, and display standards in a fast-paced retail setting.

Qualifications

• Ability to read, write, speak, analyze, interpret, and understand the English language.
• Ability to perform basic math.
• Ability to stand/walk for the duration of a scheduled shift.
• Ability to perform basic computer functions.
• Ability to regularly lift 25 lbs. and occasionally lift 60 lbs.
• Ability to work with fresh, dried and/or processed products.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures.
• Ability to tolerate dust and cleaning agents during routine housekeeping.
• Ability to interact with Customers in a friendly and helpful way.
• Ability to lead Associates to achieve department goals.

Responsibilities

• Direct and supervise all functions and activities of the Produce Department and its Associates to achieve department goals.
• Ensure safety, customer experience, and associate engagement align with company priorities.
• Oversee staffing to meet sales and customer experience needs.
• Maintain proper stocking, pricing, and display standards.
• Ensure compliance with safety, QA, and regulatory requirements.
