Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalency degree.
• Preferred 1-2 years grocery retail experience in Floral department processes and procedures.
• Previous experience in a natural foods industry is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keeps the Produce Department, floral area, storage area, and work areas clean and safe.
• Stocks produce and floral items, manages presentation and pricing accuracy.
• Assists customers, answers questions, and helps with product selection.
• Receives and inspects products for shipment, temperature, and quality.
• Monitors signs, promotional materials, and recipe cards in the department.
• Operates equipment such as knives, scales, wrappers, and hand trucks.
• Participates in pre-inventory prep and back stock checks.
• Runs the cut fruit and vegetable program and supports department goals.
• Maintains product knowledge and department cleanliness.
• Works varied hours/days as business dictates.
