Job summary

Hy-Vee Omaha is seeking a Produce Clerk to stock, rotate and maintain a fresh, inviting department. You will greet customers, help them find items, and ensure the produce is clean, labeled, and up to date.

This role is part-time with night and weekend shifts, and includes training to perform duties safely and efficiently. You'll work closely with the store team to keep deliveries checked in, preferences followed, and products replenished.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma or equivalent experience accepted.
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; training provided.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers with a smile and assisting their needs.
• Review the status and appearance of merchandise for freshness and replenish/rotate product.
• Ensure product supply is ready; develop or follow a production list and anticipate daily needs.
• Check in product, stock it, and review invoices as needed.
• Prepare, finish, and replenish product; maintain sanitation and a clean work area.
• Handle general department upkeep and assist with other tasks as needed.
