Job summary

Harps Food Stores, Inc. is seeking a Produce Clerk to support the Produce Department with day-to-day operations, stocking, and customer service. You will handle replenishment, merchandising, and safe food handling while upholding Harps’ standards and policies.

You will work in a fast-paced environment requiring reliability, adaptability, and a friendly, professional demeanor to ensure customers receive high-quality products and a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Must be at least eighteen (18) years old.
• Ability to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• Ability to interpret, understand and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Produce Department operations support including readiness, staffing, price maintenance, policies and procedures, inventory prep, department cleanliness, and safe use of equipment.
• Replenishment and inventory processes including ordering, receiving, invoicing, back stock, reclamation and returns.
• Merchandising and sales floor standards including stocking, displays, signing, and counter service.
• Fresh food preparation and production while maintaining food safety standards.
• Demonstrate problem solving through clear issue definition and logical resolution.
• Uphold safety and quality with a focus on customer service.
• Build relationships and show respect, empathy, and fairness to colleagues and customers.
• Support Harps’ mission by aiming to exceed customer expectations and maintain brand values.
