Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Produce Clerk to join the Produce Department. You will keep the department stocked, fresh, and inviting while delivering friendly service.

This role involves rotating product, checking in deliveries, and helping customers find what they need to ensure a great shopping experience. You’ll be responsible for maintaining product freshness, stocking, following sanitation procedures, and supporting the department with daily tasks.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a smile and assist with needs.
• Maintain freshness and rotate merchandise.
• Ensure product supply and prep/stock as needed.
• Check in product, stock and review invoices.
• Prepare and replenish products as necessary.
• Follow sanitation, keep area clean and safe.
• Remove trash and assist department upkeep.
• Order products and price for customers.
• Answer phones with helpful service.
• Follow dress code and department guidelines.
• Assist with other tasks or projects.
