Job summary

Hy-Vee is seeking a Produce Clerk to keep the Produce department stocked, fresh, and inviting while delivering friendly service. You will rotate product, assist customers, and help ensure an organized, efficient department to support frequent customer visits.

The role emphasizes active, physical work in a busy grocery setting with attention to hygiene, safety, and teamwork. Training is provided to perform duties and adhere to Hy-Vee guidelines.

Qualifications

• Less than high school diploma or equivalent experience accepted
• Six months or less of similar or related work experience; we'll provide all the training you need to succeed

Responsibilities

• Deliver customer service by greeting customers with a smile and assisting with their needs.
• Review merchandise for freshness and rotate stock to maintain quality.
• Ensure adequate product supply and manage production list for the department.
• Check in product, put product away, and review invoices as needed.
• Prepare and replenish product as necessary.
• Practice proper sanitation and keep the work area clean and safe.
