Job summary

El Super in Oceanside, at 1527 Mission Ave, is hiring a Produce Clerk to support daily operations. Under direct supervision of the Produce Manager, you will provide customer service, assist shoppers, and help keep the produce displays clean, filled, and rotated.

Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work in a fast-paced grocery setting. Starting rate is $17.75 per hour; equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

The Opportunity

Under direct supervision of Produce Manager, the Produce Clerk provides customer service, assists customers, cleans, fills and rotates the perishable (produce) displays. Must be able to lift 50 lbs, bend, stand and stoop for prolonged periods. The working environment is typical for a fast‑paced grocery store, and essential functions of this job include physical requirements such as lifting, standing, walking and kneeling as well as visual and auditory requirements.
