Position Purpose

Represents our store's image in a positive manner by providing our customers with helpful, courteous service from our produce area.

Qualifications/Skills

• Must be 18 years or older.

Specific Duties And Responsibilities

• Interact with customers in a friendly, courteous, positive, and enthusiastic manner.
• Guide customers to locate items in the store.
• Assist customers by providing information about produce items.
• Identify produce items such as fruits, vegetables, and bulk candy.
• Replace over-ripe produce.
• Restock and fill produce displays.
• Face current products.
• Cut, wrap, and label products as needed.
• Follow sanitization practices and health regulations, wearing appropriate attire.
• Stock shelves when necessary.
• Clean the produce department as required.
• Remain productive during shifts.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements

• Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally and 30 pounds regularly.
• Stand for the duration of the shift.
• Reach and pull merchandise regularly.
• Work in a cooler at 35°F occasionally.
