Job description

We are currently seeking qualified applicants to join our team of full and part-time Produce Clerks. Candidates should have flexible availability. Weekends, nights, and holidays may be included in scheduled hours.

Entry-level positions starting at $14/hr, with medical and dental benefits, flexible scheduling, and participation in the company 401(k) are offered, along with plenty of opportunities for growth.

College students are welcome!

Candidates must have knowledge of stocking, rotation of merchandise, maintaining pricing, facing, and inventorying produce items.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

• Providing excellent customer service, including greeting guests and assisting in choosing quality and unique fruits and vegetables and other specialty items, along with answering questions about products and services offered.
• Unloading the product from the delivery trucks.
• Prepping product for displays (cutting, packaging, and merchandising).
• Keeping shelves fully stocked according to tag allocation.
• Filling and rotating produce cases and dry tables, pulling out dated product as needed, to assure the best quality and manage loss control.
• Having no limitations with regards to lifting (up to 50 lbs), bending, squatting, kneeling, walking, continuous standing, and exposure to cold.
• Leaving assigned section presentable when leaving at the end of the scheduled shift.
