Job description

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  1. Consistently work to provide fast, friendly, helpful, and efficient customer service at all times.
  2. Be responsible for smiling, making eye contact, and thanking customers upon fulfilling their requests.
  3. Maintain a neat, clean, and organized workstation according to 5S standards at all times.
  4. Assist in the preparation and presentation of Seafood department products (e.g., prepare, price, stock, and maintain seafood case).
  5. Perform sanitation duties within the Seafood department, including cleaning dishes, food cases, and floors, according to corporate and state regulations.
  6. Ensure a high level of customer courtesy and service at all times.
  7. Ensure the accuracy of customer special orders (e.g., shrimp platters).
  8. Operate various seafood department equipment, including but not limited to, product weight scales, ovens, and cleaning utensils.
  9. Learn and become proficient at setting ice displays to corporate standards.
  10. Perform suggestive selling, sampling, and PA announcements to promote sales.
  11. Control shrink through adherence to related policies and procedures.
  12. Perform other related duties as assigned by management and adhere to all company policies and procedures.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Must be at least 18 years of age.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Strong communication skills, basic literacy skills, satisfactory performance reviews, and basic computer skills.
