Job summary

King Soopers is seeking a front-line team member to deliver exceptional customer service and maintain a clean, safe store environment. You will assist the department manager in meeting sales and profit goals while representing our core values and brand.

This role focuses on customer engagement, product knowledge, and ensuring QA standards across the department. You will work in a fast-paced retail setting, stock and label merchandise, and help keep accurate temperature logs and safety procedures

Responsibilities

• Answer questions about products and make recommendations.
• Label, stock, and inventory department merchandise.

• Assist with produce platters/trays and inform customers of specials.
• Ensure temperatures in cases and coolers are maintained and logs kept.

• Practice preventive maintenance by properly inspecting equipment and notify appropriate department or store manager of any items in need of repair
• Notify management of customer or employee accidents
• Report all safety risks or issues, and illegal activity, including: robbery, theft or fraud to store management
• Ability to work cooperatively in high paced and sometimes stressful environment
• Ability to manage conflict in a reasonable, nonconfrontational and cooperative manner
• Ability to act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information
