Job summary

iRiS Recruiting Solutions is seeking a Produce Buyer for the Hernando, MS area to secure fresh produce at optimal prices and ensure reliable supply. This on-site role emphasizes strong negotiation and market analysis to maintain quality and profitability.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in produce purchasing, knowledge of fresh markets, and comfort with data-driven decision making. Relocation is fully covered and the position offers a daytime, Monday–Friday schedule.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of produce buying or related purchasing experience.
• Knowledge of fresh produce markets, pricing & supplier relationships.
• Strong negotiation, analytical & communication skills.
• Ability to balance product quality, inventory movement & profitability.
• Familiarity with Power BI is a plus.
