Position Summary

Our members choose Sam’s Club for high quality, fresh produce at low cost. As a Produce Associate you will help ensure that the produce department is clean, organized and fully stocked. Your smile and excellent customer service help create a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to members.
• Maintain a clean, member‑ready area.
• Receive, stock, and organize merchandise.
• Maintain inventory to prevent stockouts or overstock.
• Work with cross‑functional teams to track goods and control shrinkage.
• Adhere to quality specifications for produce (taste, preparation, seasonality).
• Prepare produce (trim, crisp, package, scale) following standards.
• Use handheld technology to make timely business decisions.
• Guide peers and assist customers while meeting company policies.
• Carry out work assignments, prioritize, and communicate progress.

Qualifications

• Minimum: 18 years of age or older.
• Successful completion of all required training and assessments within a prescribed period.
• Passion for and experience with produce.
