Job summary

Jerry’s Enterprises in Cub Foods Chaska is seeking a part-time union position in the Produce department. You will assist with receiving products, merchandising, stocking shelves, and helping customers; maintaining safety and cleanliness is emphasized.

Expect varied hours with a progressive pay scale up to $18 per hour based on experience. You will join a friendly team that values reliability and teamwork, with physical duties including lifting up to 50 lbs and assisting displays.

Qualifications

• Fill and rotate cases and displays (may be heavy lifting up to 50 lbs)
• Assist with receiving products and merchandising to keep our shelves full
• Help maintain a clean and sanitary store
• Work with the team on all tasks necessary to have an awesome department

• Knows about preparing pre-cut fruit, rotating and displaying product

Responsibilities

• Assist customers in the Produce department and maintain product displays
• Receive and stock products, rotate cases, and ensure shelves are full
• Keep the store clean, organized, and sanitary throughout the shift
• Collaborate with team on tasks to maintain an exceptional department
• Show up on schedule, be reliable, and support other team members

Job description

Reports to: Produce Manager

Classification: Part Time Union

Rate of Pay: Progressive scale up to $18.00 / hour, based on experience

Hours: Sunday – Saturday, varied hours

Position functions and physical responsibilities may vary by store location.

FREQUENT:

Physical:

• lifting/carrying over 50 lbs.
• pushing/pulling to 2000 force lbs.
• walking, reaching, standing, stooping/bending, squatting, kneeling, repetitive motion: turning, bending

Equipment Operation:

• forklift, pallet jack, and carts
• box cutter, compactor, baler, scanner, register, scale, check approval machine, coupon machine, paging system

Mental:

• judgment/decision making, social skills/verbal interaction
• memorization, reading, and writing basic computer skills

Environmental:

• extended exposure to cold temperatures and wet surfaces

**FREQUENT: 15% of the work shift or at least ten repetitions per work shift
