Job summary

Marmon Holdings, Inc. is seeking a Production Operator in East Granby, CT. You will assemble mechanical units, use various hand and power tools, and operate equipment such as jigs, dies, fixtures, and drill presses to meet tolerances and product specs.

You will read simple blueprints, monitor quality, and perform basic maintenance and troubleshooting under general supervision. This is an equal opportunity role with opportunities to grow within the Marmon network.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in manufacturing/assembly.
• Ability to read simple blueprints.
• Ability to perform basic routine maintenance and cleaning.

Responsibilities

• Assemble mechanical units or fabrications to form sub-assemblies or products.
• Use hand and power tools and equipment (jigs, dies, fixtures, templates, punch presses, riveters, circular shears, drill presses).
• Fit, align, calibrate, and adjust parts to meet tolerances and requirements.
• Monitor quality of products and raw materials; read simple blueprints.
• Perform simple routine maintenance and cleaning; correct minor malfunctions.
