The Lofton Hotel, part of The Marcus Corporation, is hiring a Front Desk Agent in Minneapolis. You will welcome guests, handle check-ins and check-outs, and manage reservations with a focus on memorable service.

Build guest relationships using local knowledge and personalized care. You will maintain professionalism under pressure, process financial transactions, and support hotel operations with a range of administrative tasks.

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prior guest/customer service experience required, preferably in hospitality.
• Ability to work independently with good judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to input information accurately using a moderately complex computer system.
• Ability to observe and respond to emergencies via hearing/vision.
• Varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.

What will you be doing?

• Deliver exceptional guest experiences from check‑in to checkout.
• Masterfully handle reservations, inquiries, and complaints using hotel systems.
• Maintain composure and professionalism under pressure, resolving guest issues effectively.
• Build strong guest relationships through personalized service and local knowledge.
• Demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, both in‑person and on the phone.
• Accurately manage financial transactions and maintain cash handling responsibilities.
• Effectively multitask and prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
• Contribute to overall hotel operations by performing various administrative duties.

What do you bring to the role?

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior work experience in a guest/customer service position required, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Able to work independently, has good judgment, problem solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
