The Lofton Hotel, a premier Marcus Hotels & Resorts property in downtown Minneapolis, is seeking a Front Desk Agent. You’ll greet guests, check them in and out, and set the tone for a memorable stay.

Join a dynamic team focused on exceptional guest experiences, professional service, and efficient handling of reservations and inquiries. The role requires flexible scheduling, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior work experience in a guest/customer service position.
• Able to work independently with good judgment, problem solving and decision making.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe emergencies.
• Varied schedule including days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and ability to work under pressure.

What will you be doing?

What do you bring to the role?

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prior work experience in a guest/customer service position required, preferably within the hospitality industry.
• Able to work independently, has good judgment, problem solving, and decision‑making skills.
• Ability to read, listen, and communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills are required.
• Ability to access and accurately input information using a moderately complex computer system.
• Hearing and visual ability to observe and detect signs of emergencies.
• Must be able to work a varied schedule to include days, evenings, weekends, holidays, and the ability to work under pressure.
